Countries like Nigeria and South Africa have already fostered robust crypto communities, presenting a promising opportunity that we aim to seize.

We are seeking new community members to become ambassadors for Drift across the African continent.

What are the core problems this solves?

• The DAO and Drift Community are growing rapidly, there is a need to ensure discord remains an effective collaboration tool.
• Reaching a new market signifies an increase in spam posts and mods fluent in the languages can help manage this better for specific communities.
• We are looking for someone who can represent and promote Drift at crypto events in both Nigeria and South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that order and civility is maintained across our Discord channels.
• Protect the community from spam, misinformation, and irrelevant posts.
• Address questions and provide support for new users in the african community channels.
• Assist in organizing and hosting events and AMAs when required.
• Represent and promote Drift at local events.

Must have:

• Genuine interest and understanding of decentralized finance
• Familiarity with drift and all of its features (you will be tested!)
