Lead Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Job Responsibilities

The role:

• Take the lead on a project at Drift to build a greenfield mobile DEX trading app.
• Fully-Remote, working in the Asia timezone

Who you are:

• Experienced React Native developer with confidence to lead a greenfield project in a competitive space.
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Startup experience preferred.
  • Crypto experience preferred.
• Able to work closely with UI designers in the same time zone to create good product outcomes.
  • This will require iteratively reaching solutions and tackling ambiguity.
  • Will sometimes require using your own product sensibility and knowledge of tech limitations to help settle on solutions that align with designs quickly.
• Understands security limitations of mobile libraries used.
• Hungry and excited to work in a fast-moving and flat organisation. Drift has a tight-knit engineering team of 10, preferring quality over quantity. A scrappy and dynamic personality will succeed here.
